A Touch of Rust Vintage Market
Crafted & Vintage Goods
A Touch of Rust Market is a one-day-only shopping event, held in Texas and Oklahoma. We host a fun and eclectic market event with local, creative and unique exhibitors offering handcrafted, vintage, retro, and junky-cute furniture, art, home decor, clothing, jewelry, and more. Vendor product must be at least 80% crafted or vintage. You won't find party merchandise here, just some seriously amazing crafted and vintage goods, along with a limited numbers of boutique clothing vendors. And of course, the food trucks!
A Touch of Rust Vintage Market started in my home town of Decatur, in North Texas. We started in 2012 at the Wise County Fairgrounds, literally across the street from where I grew up. We hit the ground running with an incredible opening event, and we’ve been growing ever since. Two years ago, we began to host events in Central Oklahoma, at the Grady County Fairgrounds in Chickasha as well.
We are truly blessed with amazing people to work with, great vendors, and a community that always greets us with open arms. At every show, you’ll see me, my husband, and possibly our kids, nieces, and nephews. It’s a family thang, never a franchise. We’re at every show & having a blast while we’re there!
This crazy ride all started out as a hobby, that grew into a bit of an obsession, and finally into a business. Yet the basis for doing it remains the same; I love to find old things, and bring back their beauty and usefulness. Every piece that is reloved, restored or repurposed is a part of our history saved from the landfills. Celebrating the creativity, talent, and joy that every vendor puts into this and other creative endeavors is what makes up A Touch of Rust.
For the same reason I oooh and ahhh over a rusty windmill, I love places with a little bit of rust, dust, and history. My favorite venue is a dirt floor barn at a County Fairground. There’s nothing wrong with a little dust on your boots!
