On a day that was just made for Holiday shopping, a record number of shoppers came out to enjoy a crisp Fall day, and kick off their holiday season with A Touch of Rust’s Holiday Market at the Wise County Fairgrounds. With 26,000 SF of unique, handcrafted, vintage, repurposed, and boutique vendors, almost everyone went home with a found treasure or two! We saw lots of familiar faces, and new ones, too. So thanks to everyone who came out to spend the day we us, we are so glad you stopped by. See you in the Spring!
Holiday Market Fun
Kids enjoyed visiting with Santa, and riding the ponies, and filled their tummies with Kettle corn or home made fried pies! Lots of folks started their Christmas shopping, or found a little treasure for themselves.
A Touch of Rust Market is a family-run business, never a franchise. Most of the staff at the show is related in some way; my nieces Lauren and Madison brought along friends to help with admissions. Our daughter-in-law Nidia usually helps with vendor check-in, setup, vendor hospitality, and admissions as well. You’ll probably see a few more family members including brothers, nephews, sons, and my mom!
Hospitality for our vendors is a “big deal” for us at A Touch of Rust Market. Our vendors are the heart and soul of our business, and they work really hard to make sure every event is a great experience for our shoppers. We want we want our North Texas vendors to have a great experience, too, and love the positive feedback about the services we offer.
Be sure to come out next year for more great one-of-a-kind handcrafted and vintage items, home decor, boutique clothing, candles, jewelry, bath products, and so much more. If you didn’t make it this year, here’s what ya missed!
